Come one come all for a corporate kerfuffle with catastrophic consequences. The office atmosphere is electric. The clowns in charge spar for dominance, and Nedda can’t help but dream of a life where her coworkers keep their hands to themselves.

Harlekin Studio Opera present their fresh interpretation of Leoncavallo’s dark comedy in an immersive cabaret experience at Summerhill Bowling Club. Up-and-coming director, Jamie Whitfield (HSO, Aria Alba, Three bridges Festival), points to a fictional ministry in which the policy makers are far more interested in their own sordid affairs than in the lives of the people they serve.

Expect love, hatred, grief and laughter in this hard-hitting community production with players from across the North East.
